I hold a First Class BA in English, an MA in English Language and an MPhil in English Language from Queen’s University Belfast.

I was awarded the Esther Ballantine Prize and the Dr Henry Hutchinson Stewart Literary Scholarship by Queen’s University Belfast in July 2010 for achieving the highest overall degree mark in my year. I also won the 2010 prize for the best undergraduate essay on eighteenth-century literature.

In 2014, I was awarded the Longman Prize by the Poetics and Linguistics Association for delivering the best paper at their annual conference.

Teaching experience

I’ve been tutoring privately since January 2016 and I also work as a University Tutor in the School of English at QUB, where I teach a range of undergraduate modules.

The combination of my teaching experience and my own academic credentials means I am perfectly placed to help students secure top grades.
